Real Madrid's doctor said Cristiano Ronaldo was NOT the best athlete he worked with and instead called him a teammate

The doctor has named the best player he has ever worked with.

A former doctor who worked with Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid has admitted the stretcher was not the greatest athlete he has ever worked with.

Despite playing at senior level for 22 years, Ronaldo is still at the top of his game and continues to impress as he competes for Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has remained committed to maintaining high fitness levels throughout his career, including during the Covid-19 lockdown when he turned up for Juventus training four hours early.

Ronaldo’s obsession with fitness extends to his entire life, as the man himself has admitted that he gets irritated when he sees his son eating chips and drinking soft drinks – which led to his memorable reaction to the drink’s placement during a press conference on Euro 2020. .

But despite his admirable training routines, Jesus Olmo, who worked closely with the player at Real Madrid, believes Gareth Bale is a more complete athlete.

“Perhaps the best athlete I have seen is Gareth Bale,” Olmo told Spanish outlet Ideal in 2020.

“He is a natural athlete who can excel in almost any sport. He has unusual genetics and athletic skills, and I would say technical skills as well.

“He is the one who has impressed me the most in every respect, although there are achievements that come about through different circumstances.”

Bale’s pace, raw power and physical abilities were no secret, with the former Tottenham and Real Madrid winger known for terrorizing defenses and scoring all kinds of goals.

However, the Welsh wizard hung up his boots in January 2023 at the age of 33 to try his luck in a new golf career.

Despite receiving an offer to join Ryan Reynolds’ Wrexham, Bale has no plans to return to football.

Ahead of Ronaldo’s historic return to Manchester United in 2021, Bale was full of praise for his ex-teammate, saying: “He has done everything there in football. His goal-scoring ability is unmatched by anyone else.” [I am] excited about [see] it, just like everyone else.”
